A Shopify store that is fast, simple to run and built to sell.
Shopify makes it easy to start and easy to make a mess. We set stores up properly, move them across without losing sales or search rankings, and clear out the apps and theme code that slow them down.

Product from our Skerrin demo shop. The checklist is the one we work through on every new listing.
Who this is for
A new store and an established one need different help. The aim is the same: a store that sells well and does not need a developer for every change.

Brands starting or moving to Shopify
A first store, or a move from WooCommerce, Magento, Squarespace or another platform.
- Store setup: payments, shipping and tax
- Product, customer and order migration
- Redirects so search rankings and old links survive
- Theme choice and setup around your products

Stores that have outgrown their setup
Trading well, but slow, cluttered with apps, or hard to change.
- App audit: what to keep, replace or remove
- Speed and Core Web Vitals fixes
- Theme changes that do not block future updates
- Shopify Plus: whether it is worth it for you
What we actually do
- Setup done properly
- Payments, shipping rates, tax, markets, notifications and policies set up correctly from the start. Many of the problems we fix on older stores trace back to a rushed setup.
- Migration without losses
- Products, customers and order history moved across, old URLs mapped and redirected, and tracking checked, so you keep your search rankings and your customers keep their accounts.
- Theme work you can maintain
- We customise a well-built theme rather than start from scratch, and keep changes in sections you can edit yourself, so theme updates stay possible.
- Fewer apps, chosen well
- Every app adds a monthly cost and often slows the store down. We check what each one does, remove the ones you do not need, and switch to Shopify's built-in features where they now cover the job.
- Small private apps where needed
- When no existing app fits a specific problem, we can build a small private app for your store. It does one job, is built for your store only, and is not a public App Store product.
- Speed as part of the build
- Images, scripts, fonts and app code all affect how fast pages load on a phone. We measure, fix the biggest causes and measure again, because speed affects both sales and search.
How an engagement runs
Review
One to two weeks. Store, theme, apps, speed and analytics reviewed, or a build plan for a new store. A prioritised list with the effort for each item.
Build or migrate
Setup or migration done on a development copy, checked against a test plan, then launched at a quiet time with redirects in place.
Improve
Theme changes, app clean-up and speed work in order of impact, each checked on real phones before it goes live.
Hand over
Training on running the store day to day, documentation for any custom code, and support afterwards if you want it.

How the return works
Shopify work pays back through three things you can measure: more visitors buying, lower monthly app bills, and less time spent fighting the store.
Apps add up. A store paying for twelve apps at an average of £20 a month spends £240 a month, £2,880 a year. If an audit removes or replaces half of them, that is £1,440 a year saved, often with a faster store as well.
Speed affects sales. A store with 20,000 visits a month at 1.5% conversion and a £50 average order takes £15,000. If faster pages lift conversion to 1.7%, that is £2,000 more a month from the same traffic.
A careless migration can cost months of search traffic. Proper redirects and checks cost little compared with rebuilding rankings for pages your customers already found.
Worked examples with assumed figures, for illustration. We run the same sums with your own traffic, conversion rate and app bills before recommending any work.
Questions we get asked
Should we move to Shopify?
For most small and growing e-commerce brands, Shopify is easier to run and cheaper to maintain than a self-hosted platform. It is not right for everyone: some complex B2B or highly custom setups are better elsewhere. We will tell you which applies to you.
Will we lose our search rankings if we migrate?
Not if it is done properly. We map every old URL to its new one, set up redirects, keep page titles and content, and check Search Console after launch. Some short-term movement is normal; lasting losses usually come from missing redirects.
Do we need Shopify Plus?
Usually not until you need its specific features, such as deeper checkout customisation or B2B and wholesale tools, or your sales volume makes the pricing worthwhile. We look at what you would actually use before recommending the upgrade.
Do you build Shopify apps?
We build small private apps for client stores when no existing app does the job. Each one is made for that store and is not a public App Store product. Most of the time an existing app or a built-in feature is the better answer, and we will say so.
Can you work with our existing developer or agency?
Yes. We can review their work, write specifications for them, or take on specific pieces. You own the store, the theme and the code either way.
